Job summary

Leidos seeks a highly experienced Lead Systems Engineer - RF Systems to plan and lead systems engineering for complex mission capabilities. Translate user needs and CONOPS into system requirements, guiding across design, integration, verification and lifecycle engineering.

You will work with Government stakeholders, developers, and senior leaders to resolve issues, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability and lifecycle integrity of the system.

Qualifications

• Higher-level system engineering experience for complex mission systems.
• Ability to derive system requirements from CONOPS and user needs.
• Experience leading design, integration, verification and lifecycle activities.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, CONOPS, and architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Guide stakeholders in formulating requirements and evaluating approaches.
• Manage system and derived requirements across hardware, software, and facilities.
• Derive lower-level requirements and ensure traceability and verifiability.
• Define interfaces and coordinate across teams to ensure complete coverage.
• Lead system design decisions and propose architectural solutions.
• Plan verification strategies for DoD and government programs.
