Job summary

Asylon is seeking an electrical engineer with RF and EMI expertise to design, test, and maintain electrical and RF systems for our robotic products. You will architect, analyze, and optimize wireless communications, then design PCBs and wire harnesses to interface with the DroneCore line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years professional experience in RF/electronics design.
• Proficiency with RF measurement equipment (network analyzers, signal analyzers).
• Circuit design, schematic capture, and board layout knowledge (Altium preferred).
• Experience prototyping and fabricating new products.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
• Interest in robotics and reliable, high‑quality hardware.

Responsibilities

• Architect, analyze, and optimize wireless systems for Asylon robotics.
• Design, test, and maintain electrical systems and PCBs for DroneCore products.
• Ensure EMI tolerance and environmental robustness of hardware.
• Develop manufacturing and QA methods for PCBs and wiring.
• Incorporate DFM concepts toward high‑volume production.
• Create validation plans and address reliability, yield, and performance issues.
• Perform RF testing and troubleshoot communications and sensor systems.
• Stay current with RF/electronics trends to drive innovation.
