Radiance Technologies in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Radio Frequency systems engineer to support the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) MDTBr office. The RF systems engineer will work with a multi-disciplinary team to design, analyze, model, simulate, and test RF systems for Army S&T and R&D programs delivering RF capabilities to the Warfighter in the field.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
• Proficient with distributed aperture radar systems.
• Proficient with radar testing equipment.
• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
• Minimum 5 years' experience supporting RF-related projects.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-power RF subject matter expertise including power electronics and RF sources.
• Perform analysis and M&S to verify system concepts with high-power RF.
• Establish HWIL simulations to validate equipment functionality.
• Derive and maintain system technical requirements.
• Participate in system design activities and provide technical guidance.
• Oversee integration activities and assist with testing and demonstrations.
• Exercise independent judgment under moderate supervision to solve cost and scheduling problems.
