Job summary

General Atomics in Poway, CA seeks a Survivability Engineer to design and analyze survivable platforms, develop tools, and support RF integration across programs.

You will build modeling tools, perform RF property predictions, guide design changes, and contribute to PDR/CDR presentations with senior staff.

Qualifications

Electromagnetics phenomenology experience with RF integration.
2D/3D RCS analysis experience desired.
Strong CAD/meshing capability with NX/Rhino/Cubit.

Responsibilities

Develop tools to analyze and predict platform performance.
Predict RF properties and suggest design changes to meet objectives.
Lead integrated RF solutions with senior personnel.
Participate in design and fabrication of test articles and fixtures.
Support testing at outside facilities and ensure test integrity.
Guide design for survivable composite structures to meet customer requirements.
Transfer measured data to 2D/3D RCS codes to inform iterations.
Provide technical leadership for IRAD/CRAD projects in survivability.
Ensure compliance, safety, and reporting standards.
Present status and proposals to senior leadership and customers.
