Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking an RF Software Engineer for the Starlink program to design and implement RF capabilities for a vast satellite constellation. You will collaborate with RF, DSP, hardware, FPGA, and software engineers to move from design to operational capability at pace.

Responsibilities include building RF test benches and automation sequences in Python and C++, validating RF systems with VNA, VSG, VSA, spectrum analyzers, and collaborating across hardware and software teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of professional development in C/C++ or Python.
• 1+ years of experience with radio test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, etc.).
• 1+ years of RF experience with antennas or communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive program-level decisions on RF system designs.
• Research novel solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems.
• Design, build, validate, and automate RF test benches for full characterization of RF designs.
