Job summary

Akina Inc. seeks a RF Software Engineer 3 to develop, maintain, and enhance complex RF software systems in a secure, high-assurance environment. The role emphasizes real-time analytics, algorithm development, and scalable data handling, with responsibilities spanning design, testing, and team leadership.

The position requires TS/SCI with polygraph, a strong background in C++, Python, and Linux, and a track record of delivering performance-focused software in challenging settings.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, CS or related field; may substitute four years' experience.
• MS in Engineering or CS may substitute two years' experience.
• Twelve (12) years' experience as a DSP Algorithm developer.
• Twelve (12) years' experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language.
• C++ work must be in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics and real-time applications.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
• Lead software development teams and coordinate software system installation and operation.
• Design, code, modify software to add features and improve performance.
• Develop algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards.
