Job summary

SSATI, Sensible Solutions and Technologies, Inc., seeks an RF Software Engineer Level 3 with TS/SCI + Poly. Responsibilities span designing and integrating DSP/analytic software, coding in C++/Python, and leading teams in a Linux environment.

This role emphasizes performance, testing, and system integration across complex data processing systems. Applicants must have 12+ years DSP algorithm development experience and a current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Requires active Top-Secret SCI clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor's degree required; 4 years experience may substitute; 2 years with MS.
12+ years' experience as a DSP algorithm developer.
12+ years' experience in C++, Linux, Python; C++ work within last 10 years.
Experience with development in a Linux environment.
Experience with DSP/RF desirable.
IAT II CWIP/DoD 8570 Security+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Debug existing software and correct defects.
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
Write or review software and system documentation.
Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process.
Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and data workflows.
Modify existing software to improve performance.
Design, develop, and modify software systems with mathematical modeling.
Design or implement complex algorithms with strict timing constraints; oversee team progress.
Oversee software teams to ensure alignment with process constraints.
Coordinate with system/hardware engineers to derive software requirements and capabilities.
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to meet specifications.
