SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks an RF Silicon Software Engineer (RFIC Engineering) to drive low-level software for Starlink silicon. You will work across hardware and embedded software with a multidisciplinary team and own critical early-stage software that powers RF chips and drive hardware-in-the-loop testing.

The role requires a degree in engineering or physics and 1+ years in C, C++, or Python, with a strong focus on RF, timing, throughput, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, mathematics or physics.
• 1+ years of professional development in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with RF silicon software and embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bring up new RF silicon as the first engineer to power up chips.
• Design and build modular, production-ready software driver libraries.
• Create hardware test platforms and automated tests for silicon driver software.
• Support software integration with flight software teams.
