Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a highly experienced software engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to design and deliver RF-focused software solutions. You will contribute to SDR architectures, Linux system work, and signal processing algorithms while collaborating across teams on complex projects in a federal contracting environment.

The role requires deep knowledge of RF theory, MATLAB/SIMULINK, protocol buffers, and software configuration management tools.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years).
• Twelve (12) years of direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience on projects with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) to include experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (e.g. WVT, DVT), and digital signal processing (e.g. adaptive beamforming/ filtering, demodulation).
• Experience with Software defined radio architectures (e.g. SCA, REDHAWK, or GNU), commercial wireless standards, geolocation techniques, software configuration management tools (e.g. GIT, Clearquest, Trac, or Subversion), Python, Eclipse IDE, Google Protocol Buffer, model-based design (e.g. Matlab, SIMULINK), service oriented architecture, and Linux OS.

Responsibilities

• Write software using C++, Java; suggest other languages as needed to solve problems.
• Advance understanding of the Linux operating system.
• Identify problems in any part of an RF collection and processing system to include hardware, software, databases.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequence of design.
• Design / implement complex signal processing algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints.
