Job summary

Avid Technology Professionals, LLC seeks an experienced RF/HDE professional in the Maryland area to design, install, and maintain SATCOM systems. You will conduct site surveys, climb antennas, rack hardware, and operate earth-terminal controls to ensure reliable wide-band satellite links.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot on-site issues, and generate engineering plans, test reports, and maintenance records while coordinating with system architects, PMs and test

Qualifications

Experience as HDE in IC or microelectronic design or reverse engineering.
Travel up to 15% worldwide for installations and maintenance.
Proficient with RF measurement tools and test equipment.
Strong communication and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys, climb antennas, rack and align hardware for SATCOM links.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot field issues.
Produce drawings and schematics; prepare design packages.
Prepare engineering plans and test reports; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Travel up to 15% for installations and testing.
Measure RF parameters with PNA-X/FieldFox/BER testers.
