Job summary

SARA is seeking an RF Engineer to design, develop, and test RF systems and components in Colorado Springs, CO. The role blends theory with hands-on experimentation and multilateral collaboration across engineers and technicians.

The candidate should have a solid RF background, strong communication skills, and be prepared for a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with opportunities to contribute across long-standing and new programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of RF engineering experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in RF technologies and applied physics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF circuits, systems, and antennas for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other electronics and mechanics.
• Conduct experimental tests and validations using spectrum/network analyzers and signal generators.
• Support transitions from concept to production with troubleshooting and documentation.
• Stay updated on RF technologies and apply innovative approaches to challenges.
• Prepare technical documentation including design specs and test reports.
