Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute seeks a RF/Radar Systems Engineer to join the Advanced Concepts Lab's MIST division in Dayton, Ohio. You will develop radar modes, analyze signals, and build architectures to meet system requirements, using MATLAB, Python, or C++ and modern waveform techniques.

You will collaborate with a team on algorithms, simulations, and verification, with security clearance requirements and US citizenship, to deliver cutting-edge sensor capabilities for national defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field.
• 3–5 years of RF/Radar system experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Experience with RF-SOC/GNU Radio.
• Background in Electronic Warfare (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Refined RF subsystem and system design studies, testing plans, and requirements analysis.
• Design templates to assist SMEs in providing critical system information.
• Translate requirements into RF architectures for subsystems and low-complexity systems.
• Develop simulations and verifications for algorithms and systems.
• Define interfaces and document design descriptions for RF subsystems.
