Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking an RF/Radar Systems Engineer for the Applied Embedded Systems division within the Electronic Systems Laboratory. The role focuses on designing, developing, fielding, and supporting RF solutions for complex systems including EW, radar, avionics, and communications.

You will develop mixed-signal hardware solutions, perform simulations, oversee lab testing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust hardware for sponsor programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB layout and design best practices.
• Knowledge of embedded systems design principles.
• Experience analyzing and synthesizing analog and digital circuits.
• Familiarity with object-oriented software design, implementation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for RF, analog or digital systems.
• Perform complex RF, analog or digital circuit design.
• Perform circuit simulation, schematic capture, and board layout for submodules of a platform design.
• Generate documentation of hardware design and theory of operation.
• Conduct and supervise lab testing activities.
• Integrate modules with other system components.
• Provide significant contributions to technical reports and presentations.
• Lead small teams performing RF, analog or digital circuit design.
• Provide significant contributions to white papers and competitive proposals.
• Other related duties, as assigned
