GlobalFoundries is seeking a professional to develop and maintain LVS components within PDKs for RF technologies. The role includes modeling fabrication processes, supporting customer enablement, and working with EDA tool vendors to drive automation and quality improvements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading LVS solutions and contribute to PDK deliverables while operating under security clearance considerations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge in the semiconductor field.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, EDA, or a related engineering field is considered an advantage.
• Experience in Physical Verification, LVS (Layout Versus Schematic)

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) component as part of Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies.
• Model and accurately represent semiconductor fabrication processes within PEX solutions to ensure high-quality design enablement.
• Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to support LVS development, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to LVS PDK components, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver best-in-class LVS solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
• Develop and support automation solutions to improve LVS development, validation, quality assurance, and overall engineering productivity.
• Contribute to the development, validation, and enhancement of LVS methodologies, flows, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders to program manage PDK deliverables GlobalFoundries RF technologies.

Summary of Role

Responsible for developing and maintaining Layout Versus Schematic Rule Decks (LVS) component within Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies. The role involves modelling semiconductor processes, supporting customer enablement, collaborating with EDA tool vendors, driving automation and quality improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading LVS solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing design components for PDKs.
• Develop and maintain Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) component as part of Process Design Kits (PDKs) for GlobalFoundries RF technologies.
• Model and accurately represent semiconductor fabrication processes within PEX solutions to ensure high-quality design enablement.
• Collaborate with EDA tool vendors to support LVS development, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications US Based Applicants Preferred

• Experience with AI automation
• Previous experience with GlobalFoundries and/or RF technologies

Salary & Benefits

Expected Salary Range $118,000.00 - $210,000.00. The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
