Job summary

Raytheon in Atlanta, GA is seeking an RF Mechanical Engineer II to join the Advanced RF Front-End Hardware group. You will develop RF systems, create 3D CAD models and drawings, and coordinate fabrication and testing for ground and airborne radar applications.

This onsite role requires a STEM degree, GD&T knowledge, and experience with CAD and TDPs. Expect up to 25% travel; Must be eligible for a DoD Secret clearance. Raytheon offers relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience using 3D CAD software to design RF hardware and create engineering drawings.
• Experience creating technical data packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Develop RF mechanical designs for ground and airborne radar systems.
• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings; coordinate fabrication and testing.
• Perform hands-on integration and test support for prototype hardware and participate in design reviews.
• Travel up to 25% to Raytheon facilities and customer sites.
• Follow procedures to produce technical data packages and ensure design objectives are met.
