Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC in Harbor City, California, is seeking an Integration & Test Technician II to support the assembly, integration, tuning, testing, and verification of RF microwave and waveguide components for ground station antenna systems. The role is hands-on (approximately 75% mechanical assembly and 25% RF testing) with growth opportunities in a defense/aerospace environment.

A high school diploma and 2+ years in aerospace or related manufacturing are preferred, with familiarity in RF

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aerospace, satellite communications, defense, or related manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical blueprints.
• General knowledge of RF measurement equipment and techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with RF measurements equipment and techniques preferred.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Experience with SolidWorks/CAD is a plus/CAD.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble tasks using hand tools per travelers, drawings, and work instructions.
• Build mandrel assemblies and verify electrical conductivity.
• Perform hand mechanical solder operations.
• Assist in integration of waveguide and RF components into subassemblies.
• Wire electromechanical assemblies such as motors, encoders, and waveguide switches.
• Verify functionality of wired systems.
• Perform RF tune, test, and verification per engineering requirements.
• Support RF testing activities using RF test equipment.
• Help troubleshoot basic RF test discrepancies under supervision.
• Verify product performance against specifications and acceptance.
