Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC seeks an Integration & Test Technician II in Harbor City, CA to support assembly, integration, tuning, testing and verification of RF microwave and waveguide components used in ground station antenna systems.

This hands-on role focuses 75% on mechanical assembly and 25% on RF testing, requiring reading blueprints, using hand tools, and operating RF test equipment; adherence to 5S and safety guidelines is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aerospace/defense or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical blueprints.
• Familiarity with RF measurement equipment and techniques preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks/CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools per travelers and drawings.
• Build mandrel assemblies and verify electrical conductivity.
• Perform hand mechanical solder operations.
• Assist integration of waveguide and RF components into subassemblies.
• Wire electromechanical assemblies such as motors, encoders, and waveguide switches.
• Verify proper functionality of wired systems.
• Perform RF tune, test, and verification per engineering requirements.
• Support RF testing using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes.
• Document test results and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S guidelines.
