Job summary

Epirus Inc. is seeking an FPGA-focused engineer to design, verify, and integrate state-of-the-art FPGA and embedded processing solutions for RF applications in a fast-paced development setting.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver robust FPGA-based hardware for radical high-power microwave systems. The role requires hands-on RTL design, verification, and bring-up of FPGA hardware, with experience using Vivado/Quartus and familiarity with SPI/I2C/UART protocols.

Qualifications

• Design and verification of RTL modules for FPGA applications.
• Experience with embedded hardware and test bring-up.
• Familiarity with Vivado/Quartus toolchains and latest FPGA IPs.
• Understanding of SPI/I2C/UART and digital communication protocols.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and verification of RTL modules for FPGA applications.
• Initial test and bring-up of custom FPGA cards and peripherals.
• Automation of test environments and lab equipment.
• Capture design tradeoffs and system-level diagrams.
