Job summary

Epirus is seeking an experienced engineer to design, verify, and integrate FPGA systems for RF applications in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include RTL design, test bring-up of FPGA cards, and automation of lab measurement environments. Requires BS/MS in engineering and 2+ years of FPGA/embedded experience; UVM/SystemVerilog and Xilinx/Intel tool experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer or Electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of technical experience.
• Familiarity implementing FPGA and microprocessor designs on embedded hardware.
• Experience with Xilinx/Intel FPGA toolchains (Vivado/Quartus).
• Understanding of SPI, I2C, UART.

Responsibilities

• Design and verification of RTL modules for FPGA applications.
• Initial test and bring-up of custom FPGA circuit cards and on-board peripherals.
• Automation of test environment including hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Capture design tradeoffs, state machines, and system address maps.
