Job summary

Qnity Electronics is actively seeking an RF/EMI Applications Engineer to diagnose EMI/EMC, RF, and thermal issues for customers and to perform hands-on lab work. The role includes testing with RF equipment and collaborating with sales and engineering on innovative solutions.

The position involves travel to customer sites with a hybrid work setup between Sunnyvale, CA and Carlsbad, CA facilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, RF Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetics, RF systems, and EMI/EMC fundamentals.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment and laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers to diagnose and solve EMI, EMC, RF, signal integrity, and thermal issues.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments using RF test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes (EMI/RF expertise from 3GHz - 80 GHz)
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions and influence future product development.

We are seeking an RF/EMI Applications Engineer who enjoys hands‑on engineering, customer interaction, laboratory experimentation, and simulation-based problem solving.

What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with customers to diagnose and solve EMI, EMC, RF, signal integrity, and thermal issues.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments using RF test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes (EMI/RF expertise from 3GHz - 80 GHz)

The Pay range for this role is $99,120.00 - $155,760.00 Annual
