Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electromechanical Test Equipment Engineering Technician in Farmington Hills, MI. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining complex test systems including RF instrumentation and ESS chambers on the production floor.

You will work with Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and RF Engineering teams, reading schematics and mechanical drawings, while regularly performing calibration and verification to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical test equipment and RF systems.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Hands-on repair, calibration, and verification of test systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and restore production test equipment to service with minimal downtime.
• Repair and calibrate RF test equipment, ESS chambers, and control cabinets.
• Document troubleshooting steps and equipment status per procedures.
