Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Junior RF Engineering Technician to support the Dahlgren, VA team in Electromagnetic Effects testing and certification for DoD systems.

You will operate and maintain equipment such as network and spectrum analyzers, and TDRs; travel up to 10%; collaborate with engineers and customers on a variety of test events to ensure compliance with E3 design specifications and reliability in the naval electromagnetic environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general experience in electronics, physics, or RF systems.
• Active Secret US Government Clearance required.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• On-the-job mentoring is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment to support conduct of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing/certification.
• Interface with customers and work as a team across test events.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
