Job summary

Qualifications

• RF devices and microprocessor experience required; RF test equipment including network and spectrum analyzers are required.
• RF microwave tuning experience is highly preferred.
• RF microwave soldering/assembly experience; J-Std certification highly preferred.
• Costpoint, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental and repetitive tests of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies (RF Microwave, Analog and Digital) to determine if the assemblies meet specification.
• Setup and configuration of RF microwave test setups for CW and Pulse applications.
• Setup and configuration of both digital and analog subassembly test setups using standard laboratory equipment.
• Work from schematics, specifications, sketches, or other authorized information to determine performance requirements of equipment being tested.
• Repair, adjust, and calibrate equipment to bring it within requirements.
• Active soldering and mechanical assembly of equipment to repair, adjust and calibrate equipment.

Education

High School Diploma with 8+ years experience

2-year Associate Degree with 4+ years experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred

Job Title: RF Engineering Technician

Job Location: Melville, NY (100% onsite)

Salary: $35.00-$45.00/hr DOE

Responsibilities
