Job summary

Marki Microwave in Morgan Hill, California is seeking an Engineering Intern to work with a team of engineers on RF/microwave product development. The role includes hands-on bench work, production/test development, and potential projects tailored to your skills and interests.

The internship lasts 10 weeks and supports juniors, seniors, and grad students. Freshman/Sophomore participation is also possible with learning on Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, and Signal Generators.

Qualifications

• College undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering with an interest in RF, Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Strong academic record (minimum GPA 2.8) required.
• Good understanding of RF components (Mixers, Passives, Amplifiers, Switches) and RF/Microwave testing theory.
• Good understanding or experience of RF electronics manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on, team-based approach to work

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for the assigned Marki RF engineering project.
• Work with the engineering team to meet project objectives.
• Manage priorities and communicate progress and challenges with your Manager.
• Ask questions and follow instructions to execute tasks.
• Analyze and summarize collected data and help resolve problems.
• Present results to the engineering team at the internship readout meeting.
• Promote an ethics-based business culture in the organization.
