The RF Engineer II role supports and leads RF projects across commercial cellular and public safety systems, with about 70% office work and 30% travel for field assignments up to one week. Opportunities exist for leadership and advanced RF disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with commercial wireless networks or RF engineering.
• Strong RF fundamentals: wireless comms, propagation, power, frequency, modulation, noise, antennas.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot wireless networks and RF systems.
• Perform RF coverage and capacity analysis using propagation modeling software and field measurements.
• Conduct RF testing on 5G NR, LTE, and public safety/LMR systems with RF test equipment.
• Provide RF engineering support for zoning and permitting, including presenting before planning boards.
• Perform RF exposure evaluations, measurements, and FCC compliance studies.
• Conduct interference and PIM analysis and propose mitigations.
• Manage multiple projects and customer priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Prepare technical reports, studies, and customer deliverables.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop practical RF solutions.
