Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC is seeking an RF Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test RF system solutions for advanced communication platforms. You will perform hands-on work from design bench to field deployment, including power amplifiers, cellular, WiFi, and antenna systems, with emphasis on low-power RF circuits.

The role requires strong collaboration with teams and clients, plus excellent documentation of system engineering work.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years as an RF engineer.
• Experience designing lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular & WiFi tech, antennas, RF propagation, and RF test equipment.
• Ability to select, develop, and use analytical tools.
• Experience planning and executing performance analyses and integrating/testing RF systems.
• Develop RF system engineering documents (SEPs, ICDs, Requirements Specs).
• Strong written and verbal communication; team collaboration and client interaction.

Responsibilities

Description:

This candidate be expected to provide design, development, integration, and testing of operational prototype RF system solutions. Additionally, the candidate is expected to provide hands‑on experience doing \"design-bench-deploy\" RF design in lower‑power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF test equipment, and RF propagation using modeling and simulation tools.

Required Skills and Education, including but not limited to:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar technical major from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of experience as an RF engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.


• Experience with designing lower‑power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation, and RF test equipment


• Experience with selecting, developing, and using analysis tools


• Planning and executing performance analysis


• Integrating and testing RF systems


• Developing RF system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications


• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)


• Team‑based collaborative abilities


• Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting
