Job summary

• Ability to perform power link budget calculations and compare products by their specs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently in the mid-Atlantic region.
• Knowledge of propagation modeling tools preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with multi-carrier DAS solutions preferred.
• iBwave Propagation and Optimizations Modules preferred.
• iBwave certifications preferred.
• Training/certifications for CDMA, TDMA, GSM, iDEN, EvDo, UMTS, LTE bonus.
• Training certifications from ADRF, Axell, CommScope, Corning, SOLiD, Tyco/TE Connectivity bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RF surveys and requirements collections for in-building DAS.
• Design DAS networks and perform RF propagation modeling.
• Select DAS solutions and components that fit site needs.
• Oversee installation projects and provide technical oversight.
• Integrate DAS solutions into the macro network.
• Collect data, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing support.

The In-Building DASRF Engineer will be responsible for RF surveys and requirements collections, RF designs, RF propagation modeling, selection of the most appropriate DAS solution and components, installation project management and technical oversight, integration of DAS solutions into the macro network, data collection, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of In-building Distributed Antenna Systems design, integration, and optimization experience is required.
• Experience working with large wireless service providers and enterprise customers is required.
• Fundamental understanding of the physics behind RF wave propagation theory is required.
• Ability to perform power link budget calculations and compare different product via their technical specifications is required.
• Ability to use PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to travel frequently in the mid-Atlantic region required.
• Experience with iBwave required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of propagation modeling and toolsis preferred.
• Experience with multi-carrier DAS solutions preferred.
• Experience with iBwave Propagation and Optimizations Modules preferred.
• Certifications from iBwave preferred.
