Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in In-building DAS, strong RF propagation knowledge, iBwave experience, and excellent communication. Travel is frequent; bachelor's in EE is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of In-building DAS design, integration, and optimization experience.
• Experience with large wireless service providers and enterprise customers.
• Fundamental understanding of RF wave propagation theory.
• Ability to perform power link budget calculations and compare products by their specs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently in the mid-Atlantic region.
• Knowledge of propagation modeling tools preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with multi-carrier DAS solutions preferred.
• iBwave Propagation and Optimizations Modules preferred.
• iBwave certifications preferred.
• Training/certifications for CDMA, TDMA, GSM, iDEN, EvDo, UMTS, LTE bonus.
• Training certifications from ADRF, Axell, CommScope, Corning, SOLiD, Tyco/TE Connectivity bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RF surveys and requirements collections for in-building DAS.
• Design DAS networks and perform RF propagation modeling.
• Select DAS solutions and components that fit site needs.
• Oversee installation projects and provide technical oversight.
• Integrate DAS solutions into the macro network.
• Collect data, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing support.
