Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in RF design for military hardware. The role focuses on high-speed, embedded, and RF electronics, including SOSA VNX+ SDR open architectures. You will design, simulate, and validate complex hardware for mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE, has experience with Altium/Cadence/SPICE, and can work with cross-functional teams. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (Altium, Cadence, SPICE).
• Experience with hardware testing including thermal and environmental testing.
• Familiarity with military standards and hardware design specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF, embedded, high-speed electronics for sensing, communication, and other equipment.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, and simulation for new hardware designs, ensuring compliance with military standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Generate detailed hardware specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts for advanced hardware boards.
• Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of RF and power electronics systems.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
