Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring an RF Electronics Engineer in Melbourne, FL to support RF subsystem development and integration in a 9/80 schedule with no hybrid/remote options. You will collaborate with multiple teams, conduct trade studies, and ensure the hardware meets mission requirements.

The role requires a STEM degree with extensive related experience, and the ability to obtain U.S. government clearances including Top Secret as needed. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with extensive related engineering experience.
• Advanced degrees preferred for deeper technical expertise in RF systems.
• Active ability to obtain/maintain US government clearances is implied.

Responsibilities

• Support development and integration of RF subsystems to meet mission objectives.
• Translate customer requirements into derived specifications and perform trade studies.
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans with closure tracking.
• Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders across teams.
• Manage supplier docs, performance specs, and statements of work.
• Engage in system integration and test support for subsystems.
• Review supplier development documents and support design reviews.
• Lead formal/informal testing of subsystems in the lab and flight tests.
