Job summary

Raytheon seeks an Electrical/Electronics Technician to evaluate and repair RF assemblies at Fort Bliss, working with RF test equipment and reading schematics.

Applicants must have an AA/AS degree with 6+ years of RF experience and be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

This onsite, first-shift role includes adherence to ESD controls and opportunities to participate in CPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in RF electrical/electronic evaluation and troubleshooting.
• Experience using test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, network/spectrum analyzers).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate failed electrical assemblies and determine root cause, focusing on RF.
• Troubleshoot electronics with hands-on approach, not scripted procedures.
• Collaborate with senior electrical engineers, test technicians, and QA towards repair and return.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
• Maintain ESD controls and processes to established standards.
• Support CPI projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• This role is onsite and first shift at Fort Bliss.
