Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DSP engineer with strong RF signal processing and software development skills to design and demonstrate digital signal processing for RF sensing, detection, and response systems. You will work in a lab to develop capabilities for demonstration and delivery to a DoD client, using SDRs and GNU Radio in a security-focused environment.

The role requires Linux/C/C++ or Rust experience, knowledge of DSP and RF theory, and the ability to travel regionally up to 25%.

Qualifications

  • Experience with wireless communications systems and signal processing theory and application.
  • Experience with Linux, C/C++ or Rust.
  • Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) toolkits and standards such as GNU Radio and Ettus UHD.
  • Experience with Signal Processing Techniques and RF Theory.
  • Experience with embedded software development, code optimization, and multi-threading.
  • Knowledge of DSP and DSP algorithm development.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop DSP for RF sensing, detecting, and responding systems in a lab environment.
  • Implement radio communication capabilities and demonstrations for the client.
  • Demonstrate state-of-the-art DSP techniques to guide DoD clients.
