Job summary

HTU is hiring for a DAS design role in Phoenix, AZ. This position focuses on creating DAS designs with iBwave, performing propagation modeling, and generating Bills of Materials.

You will work onsite in the Arizona Design Center with an evening shift from 2pm to 11pm, and participate in 4–6 weeks of onsite training. The candidate should show high energy, teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn new technical concepts, while collaborating across design, construction, sales, and OEM

Qualifications

• DAS design skills using iBwave or similar tools.
• RF theory knowledge relevant to DAS and base stations.
• Ability to produce accurate BOMs and diagrams.

Job description

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Layout Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) designs using iBwave software.
• Follow direction from the Central Engineering Lead.
• Work extended hours at a PC as required.
• Understand frequency bands, protocols, and terms related to signal strength, quality, and base stations.
• Learn and apply knowledge of Repeater and DAS OEM equipment architectures.
• Apply RF Math principles to design tasks.
• Set up 3D modeling in iBwave and run propagation models.
• Produce thorough, clean DAS designs and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Create fiber and rack diagrams using Visio.
• Export and consolidate designs, plots, and design reports as needed.
• Collaborate between design and construction phases of projects.
• Develop client-facing documents that impact company success.
• Work with the Design Center to validate engineering approaches and improve efficiency.
• Build relationships with CTS management, sales, engineering teams, and OEM partners.
• Stay updated on the latest in-building wireless technology and new product information.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $19 to $24 based on experience.
