Job summary

Skyworks Irvine RF design co-op opportunity offers hands-on exposure to RF front-end components, design validation and testing across GSM/WLAN applications. The 6-month program starts January 2027 with on-site work, requiring current EE enrollment and return-to-school after the co-op.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers, perform RF measurements using VNA and spectrum analyzers, analyze data with Matlab and Excel, and present findings to design staff.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's program and returning to school after the co-op.
• Must work onsite January - June 2027.
• RF/microwave design knowledge and RF testing experience is required or asset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to summarize data.
• Proficiency in Matlab and data processing tools.

Responsibilities

• You will support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules.
• You will perform RF tests, evaluate results, and present data to design engineers.
• You will assist in design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RF switches, filters, couplers, PAs, LNAs, and FEMs.
