Powerus is seeking an RF Engineer to design the radio hardware in handheld controllers and aircraft datalinks. You will design RF front ends, select transceivers, and define the RF architecture in collaboration with systems engineering.

The role focuses on compact handheld products, matching networks, layout shielding, and producing testable hardware. Location is Rock Hill, SC, with duties tied to ITAR/EAR controlled data and security clearances considered.

Competenze

• Located in the United States within commuting distance of Rock Hill, SC.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators.
• Experience with RF schematic capture and PCB layout review.
• Working knowledge of transmission lines, impedance matching, and noise figure.
• U.S. Person status required (ITAR/EAR controlled data).

Mansioni

• Design RF front ends, including power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, filters, and switches.
• Select transceivers and RF components and define the RF architecture with radio systems engineering.
• Design matching networks, RF layout, and shielding for compact handheld products.
• Characterize conducted performance, including output power, sensitivity, linearity, and spurious emissions.
• Resolve coexistence and desense issues with other electronics in the controller.
• Support EMC testing, production transfer, and failure analysis.
