Job summary

Powerus seeks an FPGA Engineer to design baseband and data-path logic for its controller and aircraft radios. You will develop FPGA solutions, work with firmware, and validate through hardware testing in RF labs.

The role requires hands-on experience taking FPGA projects from simulation to working hardware, with emphasis on timing closure and power optimization. U.S. Person status and proximity to Rock Hill, SC are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient FPGA logic design in VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with AMD Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
• Digital signal processing implementation experience.
• Simulation-based verification experience.
• U.S. Person status required (ITAR/EAR data access).

Responsibilities

• Design baseband and data-path FPGA logic for Powerus radios.
• Write testbenches and verify designs against reference models.
• Achieve close timing and optimize resource use and power.
• Integrate FPGA with embedded processors and firmware.
• Validate designs on hardware with RF lab instruments.
• Collaborate with RF engineering and firmware teams.
