Job summary

Fortress Solutions in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to lead end-to-end design, analysis, optimization, and validation of 4G LTE and 5G wireless systems for enterprise and carrier environments.

You will apply RF design tools, perform link-budget analyses, and collaborate with network teams to deliver robust deployments, including in-building and outdoor coverage, drive testing, and field validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 5+ years of RF engineering experience in wireless telecom.
• Experience designing and optimizing 4G LTE and 5G networks.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design RF solutions for 4G LTE and 5G networks, including macro, small cell, and in-building (DAS) systems.
• Perform RF link budget analysis to ensure coverage and capacity.
• Develop and validate RF architectures aligned with 5G NR standards and deployment scenarios.
• Produce detailed RF design documentation and performance forecasts.
