Job summary

Times Microwave Systems in Wallingford, CT, seeks a Connector Design Engineer to apply RF interconnect and connector domain expertise to translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions. This role leads conceptual modeling, analysis, and detailed design while supporting prototyping, validation, and transfer to production.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to develop IP-protected solutions that optimize performance, cost, and producibility,

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 structure.
• Experience with RF/interconnect design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, PM, and Applications on new product initiatives.
• Design new products and modify existing ones.
• Transition from concept through detailed design and release.
• Conduct RF and mechanical simulations; build/test prototypes as needed.
• Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and BOMs; support design reviews.
