Relative Dynamics in Houston seeks a Navigation Flight Software Engineer to support the lunar mission portfolio for a Commercial Space customer. This on-site role requires close collaboration with systems, software, avionics, GNC, payload, and ground systems engineers to ensure successful communication system integration.

You will test ground communication components, define environment requirements, and use RF hardware and SDRs to validate Eb/No, link margin, and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications or related fields.
• Experience testing communication ground system requirements and interface definitions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilités

• Test communication ground systems and subsystems.
• Define communication ground and subsystem test environment requirements.
• Test RF communication architectures, antennas, transceivers, SDRs, LNAs, SSPAs, and related hardware.
• Test communication waveforms, modulation schemes, coding/FEC techniques, and synchronization methods.
• Perform RF system modeling, simulation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct communication performance analyses (Eb/No, C/N, throughput, link margin) to validate issues.
• Ensure ground systems comply with constraints, standards, and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration.
