Job summary

IDS is seeking a Wireless Technician II to support installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless communications systems at Muscatatuck, Indiana. The role requires experience with RF systems, signal planning, RF analysis, and diagnosing RF issues to ensure reliable performance for missions and training.

The candidate will install, operate, and maintain radio equipment from HF through EHF, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining radio equipment ranging from HF to EHF.
• Demonstrated experience with signal planning and RF analysis to determine proper location and radio transmission power requirements.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting RF issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain radio equipment ranging from HF through EHF systems.
• Support wireless communications infrastructure and associated equipment.
• Conduct signal planning and RF analysis activities.
• Determine appropriate radio placement and transmission power requirements.
