Job summary

Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Test Engineer to develop automated production test solutions for RF transceivers and mixed-signal devices, enabling first-time-right launches into high-volume production.

You will build ATE test programs, define RF test plans, and collaborate with design and qualification teams to meet specifications while improving test efficiency and reliability. A strong RF/analog background and ATE experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics and computer Engineering.
• MSEE preferred.
• Candidates with Analog circuits and RF knowledge are preferred.
• Experience with ATE such as Teradyne or 93K is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test programs and integrate test functions for silicon bring-up in NPI.
• Define RF test strategies, test plans and test procedures aligned to product specs.
• Characterize and validate ATE performance across PVT and report results to teams.
• Use ATE tools and external instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA, logic analyzer) to debug issues.
• Support yield and quality improvements during and after NPI phases.
• Be self-driven to quickly learn various aspects of test development.
