Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to develop RF/mixed-signal front-end architectures for high-performance embedded computing used in defense and aerospace applications.

You will collaborate with FPGA, PCB, and software teams across the product lifecycle, from concept and simulation to hardware validation and production, solving SI challenges and driving architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Expertise designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains including RF front ends and ADC/DAC interfaces.
• Experience taking RF hardware from architecture to production.
• Strong RF design theory, impedance matching and noise mitigation.
• Experience selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices.
• RF circuits up to 18 GHz and digital interfaces to FPGA.
• Lab testing with RF test equipment; collaboration with PCB/layout teams.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design RF and mixed-signal front-end architectures for defense/aerospace products.
• Develop RF signal paths, low-noise analog circuitry, clocks and power architectures.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software and systems engineers.
• Oversee lifecycle from concept through validation and production.
• Influence architecture decisions and resolve signal integrity issues.
