Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks an RF Analog Design Engineer in Huntsville to craft high-performance analog front-ends for defense and aerospace embedded computing products. You will design RF paths, low-noise circuitry, clocks, and power with close collaboration across FPGA, PCB, and systems teams.

You will influence architecture through full product lifecycles, solving signal integrity challenges and advancing next-generation RF and mixed-signal platforms for mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Expertise designing complete RF and mixed-signal chains.
• Experience from system to production with RF hardware.
• Strong RF design theory knowledge including filters and impedance.
• Experience selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs from major vendors.
• RF circuits operating up to 18 GHz and interfaces to FPGA.
• Clocking, distribution, and low-noise power architectures.
• Hands-on lab experience with RF test equipment.
• Collaborates closely with PCB layout for manufacturability.
• Strong troubleshooting for analog/mixed-signal issues.

Responsibilities

• Design RF analog front-ends and mixed-signal signal paths.
• Develop low-noise circuitry, clocking, and power architectures.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems teams.
• Lead architecture decisions and resolve signal integrity challenges.
• Support lifecycle from concept to production and validation.
