Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking a Rewind Machine Operator for the weekend shift, responsible for operating and maintaining finishing equipment to ensure high-quality final products. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to log production data accurately.

The operator will monitor the finishing process, inspect for defects, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating finishing or production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor finishing machinery to complete product processing according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality, identifying defects or inconsistencies and taking corrective action as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and uphold quality standards.

The Rewind Machine Operator plays a critical role in the final stages of the manufacturing or production process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are prepared for distribution. This position involves operating and maintaining finishing equipment such as cutters, binders, laminators, or packaging machines to complete the product assembly or presentation. The operator is responsible for monitoring the finishing process, identifying any defects or issues, and making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent errors and ensure a safe working environment. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to customer satisfaction by delivering finished products that meet or exceed company standards.
