Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a detail-oriented Rewind Assistant for the Rewind Department in Wisconsin to support production and ensure efficient rewinding operations. You will assist with setup, monitor equipment, perform basic maintenance, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires basic mechanical and math skills, strong attention to detail, and a team-focused attitude. Rotating 2-2-3 shifts and a path for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude.
• Previous rewinding equipment experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work a 2-2-3 shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
