Job summary

ProAmpac in Suamico, WI, is seeking a Rewind Assistant to support our Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, monitor operations, and help with routine maintenance, while ensuring safety and cleanliness on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical or math skills, with a team-focused attitude. Prior rewinding experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role with rotating 2-2-3 shifts and growth opportunities.

• Previous experience with rewinding equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup.
• Supply raw material or components for the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitor rewinder machine operations.
• Assist with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments under supervision.
• Fill in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Complete production logs or reports as required.
• Work effectively with other departments.
• Use forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
