Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Rewind Assistant in Wisconsin to support the rewind department, assist with machine setup, supply materials, and monitor operations. You will help with routine maintenance and minor repairs under guidance, ensuring a clean, safe work environment and accurate production logs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical skills, with attention to detail and a team-focused attitude. Shift is a 2-2-3 rotation; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with rewinding equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed.
• Supply raw materials or components for the rewinder machine.
• Monitor rewinder operations for quality and efficiency.
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs under supervision.
• Fill in or run the machine during shift changes or as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Complete production logs or reports for documentation.

Your Role: Rewind Assistant - Rewind Department

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.

What You Bring
