Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin seeks a Rewind Assistant to support the rewinder department with machine setup, material supply, and monitoring operations. You will fill in during shift changes, perform minor maintenance, document production logs, and ensure a safe, clean workplace within a 2-2-3 rotating shift schedule.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and basic mechanical and math skills, plus a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with rewinding equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
