ProAmpac, a leading global packaging company in Wisconsin, seeks a Rewind Assistant for the Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, supply materials, monitor operations, and help with maintenance in a team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate logs, and collaboration across departments. Candidates with basic mechanical and math skills and a positive, detail-oriented mindset are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous rewinding equipment experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup and materials preparation.
• Supply raw material or components for the rewinder as needed.
• Monitor rewinder machine operations.
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs under guidance.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and perform adjustments.
• Fill in or temporarily run the machine during shifts or as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete production logs/reports for documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments/teams as required.
• Use forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
