Job summary

Obie is seeking an analytics professional to join the Revenue Operations and Analytics team in Chicago. You will blend SQL, Python, and data visualization to drive insights across Growth, Product, Insurance, and Finance, partnering with Data Engineers and Analysts.

You will own end-to-end analytics initiatives, maintain dashboards in Sigma, and help executives make data-driven decisions in a fast-growing insurance technology company.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics or business analytics with strong SQL abilities.
• Knowledge and interest in insurance.
• Ability to drive initiatives start to end and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to dive deep into data and details while synthesizing the bigger picture for stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Team player attitude with the desire to drive impact at a fast growing company.

Responsibilities

• Develop hypotheses to understand drivers of growth or stagnation.
• Build and maintain dashboards/reports in Sigma BI tool.
• Align analytics needs across Growth, Product, Insurance, Finance, and Exec teams.
• Support financial budgeting, forecasting and tracking.
• Perform data quality checks and reconciliations to datasets.
• Act as a trusted data advisor and promote data literacy.
